Everything You Need to Feel Confident + Supported in Therapy.

Welcome! Starting therapy is a big step, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on this journey. I absolutely love helping newcomers to therapy—it’s a privilege to create a positive, meaningful, and comfortable experience for you.
In our initial consultation, we’ll take some time to get to know each other. I’ll ask a few questions about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping to work on. It’s important to me that we’re a great fit, and if I ever feel like someone else might better meet your needs, I’ll let you know and help connect you to the right support.
If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule your first session. In that session, we’ll talk about your life, your goals, and how therapy can support you. Think of it as a conversation centered entirely on you.
It’s completely normal to take some time to see if the therapeutic relationship feels right for you. I encourage you to share how you’re feeling—if something isn’t clicking, I’m here to listen and adjust. Your voice is so important in this process.
Therapy can sometimes bring up emotions or memories that feel challenging, and that’s okay—it’s part of the healing process. But if anything feels too overwhelming, please let me know. My priority is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly cared for as we work toward the change you’re seeking.

Great question! I am licensed to provide therapy to individuals who are physically located in California, New York, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. While your state of residency doesn’t matter, state laws require that therapists be licensed in the state where the client is physically present during sessions.
If you travel out of these states for work or leisure, I can offer sessions to ensure continuity of care.
If you are located outside of California, New York, Pennsylvania, or Massachusetts, I am unable to work with you due to licensing restrictions.

I usually recommend meeting weekly when we first begin our work together. Regular sessions at the start allow us to build a strong connection and give me a deeper understanding of you. As we progress and you begin to feel better, we can adjust to biweekly sessions if you wish. If we do move to less frequent sessions, I may ask for some flexibility with scheduling to ensure everything runs smoothly.

My rates are set to reflect the expertise, care, and attention I bring to every session:
50-minute therapy session: $295
60-minute couples therapy session: $350
While I don’t bill insurance directly, I’m happy to provide superbills to help you with reimbursement claims. Many of my clients with out-of-network benefits successfully receive partial reimbursement for their care.
To make the process easier, I’ve created a fabulous script to guide you when speaking with your insurance provider—it’s simple and effective!
If you have any questions about my rates, insurance, or how reimbursement works, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to help make everything as clear and seamless as possible.

Yes! I love meeting with clients in person whenever possible. My office is warm, inviting, and designed to create a comfortable space for you to explore and grow.
Located in the Castro district in San Francisco, it’s easy to get to, with convenient parking right across the street. I also offer virtual therapy for flexibility and convenience.

We’ve chosen to focus all our energy on providing the highest level of care to our clients, rather than navigating the red tape of insurance companies, so we don’t work directly with insurance.
That said, we completely understand how important insurance can be for managing the cost of therapy. If you have a PPO policy and plan to submit for reimbursement, I’m happy to support you by providing all the necessary documentation quickly and thoroughly to make the process as smooth as possible.
One thing to keep in mind is that insurance companies sometimes require access to personal information about our work together, such as diagnoses and session details, which can feel invasive for some clients. By staying independent, I can ensure that your therapy remains completely private and tailored to your needs.
To help you navigate what your insurance will and won’t cover, we’ve also created a simple, helpful script you can use when speaking with your provider. (Email and I’ll send it right away). If you have questions or feel uncertain about the process, don’t hesitate to ask—I’m here to help however I can!

I offer the best of both worlds—sessions can be in person or remote, depending on what works best for you. If you prefer the cozy, grounded feel of meeting face-to-face, my office is ready to welcome you. If the ease and convenience of connecting from the comfort of your home is more your style, we can meet virtually with the same depth and care. Whether in person or remote, I’m committed to creating a warm, supportive space where we can do meaningful work together.

You deserve to know what’s possible when it comes to your care. A third-party calculator will quickly estimate your PPO insurance reimbursement for teletherapy. It’s an easy, stress-free way to get started.
Want even more clarity? Reach out to your insurance provider directly—we’ve created a simple, step-by-step PPO Reimbursement Script to make the process simple. (Shoot me an email and I’lll send it!)
